In 2017 the number of new cases of Tuberculosis in Indonesia was 420,994 cases, 1.4 times greater in men than women. The World Health Organization has recommended the Directly Observed Treatment Shortcourse (DOTS) Strategy as a strategy for controlling Tuberculosis. One of the DOTS components developed in Indonesia is the standardization of treatment component with patient supervision and support. Indonesia developed this strategy in the Observed Taking Medication Directly program, a form of monitoring compliance with taking medication according to the program for Tuberculosis sufferers. Medication supervisor who monitors and reminds Tuberculosis sufferers to swallow medicine regularly. Monitoring medication swallowing is very important to accompany sufferers to achieve optimal treatment results. The success of Tuberculosis treatment is an essential performance indicator in evaluating the performance of the national TB control program. The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between medication swallowing supervisors and medication compliance in pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The subjects in this research were residents of Sarudik District, Central Tapanuli Regency who were undergoing TB treatment with the DOTS strategy from January 2024 to June 2024, totaling 30 people. The measuring instrument uses a questionnaire sheet and then tested using the chi-square test. The research results showed that 7 respondents (23.3%) did not support the Observed Taking Medication Directly and 23 respondents (76.7%) did not support it. There were 5 respondents (16.7%) who did not comply with taking medication and 25 respondents (83.3%) were compliant with taking medication for TB sufferers. This research instrument uses a first aid knowledge questionnaire sheet which has been tested as valid (Pearson product moment 0.361) and reliable (Cronbach Alpha 0.985). The results of this research showed that the description of the knowledge who have good knowledge about First Aid are 97 respondents (91.5%) and 9 respondents (8.5%) have sufficient knowledge. The solution that can be implemented so that all students can have good knowledge is to provide health education so that they can increase students' knowledge and skills in providing first aid in accidents.
Merry Prina Br Regar Jagentar Parlindungan Pane Murni Sari Dewi Manullang Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Ilmiah PANNMED (Pharmacist, Analyst, Nurse, Nutrition, Midwivery, Environment, Dentist) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 19 3 360 370 10.36911/pannmed.v19i3.2204 EVALUASI MANAJEMEN PEMILIHAN OBAT DAN KAJIAN POLIFARMASI PADA PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA DI RSJ MUTIARA SUKMA PROVINSI NTB http://d3.midwifery.poltekkes-medan.ac.id/ojs-3.3.0-13/pannmed/article/view/2168
Baiq Anisa Aprilia Rara Tama Siti Nurrosyidah Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Ilmiah PANNMED (Pharmacist, Analyst, Nurse, Nutrition, Midwivery, Environment, Dentist) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 19 3 371 378 10.36911/pannmed.v19i3.2168 KNOWLEDGE OF REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH WITH FAMILY PREPARATION IN MIDWIFERY STUDENTS http://d3.midwifery.poltekkes-medan.ac.id/ojs-3.3.0-13/pannmed/article/view/2212
Background: Reproductive health is an important aspect of family life. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results: The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between reproductive health knowledge and family preparation among midwifery students in terms of age at family (p value 0.001), pregnancy spacing (p value 0.000), and participation in family planning programs (p value 0.003). Conclusion: Good reproductive health knowledge is related to good family preparation in students. This shows the importance of reproductive health education for students to prepare themselves for family life.
Dina Dewi Anggraini Yanik Muyassaroh Aulia Fatmayanti Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Ilmiah PANNMED (Pharmacist, Analyst, Nurse, Nutrition, Midwivery, Environment, Dentist) 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 19 3 379 384 10.36911/pannmed.v19i3.2212
